Job Description:  


Part of SSL Support and Implementation (SI) team responsible for Application Solution Support


 Summary of the Job Role:

1.       Technical Support Engineer is responsible for customer support services at SSL LLC via technical support, trouble shoot and resolve customer issues for SSL solutions.

2.       Most of our solutions are developed in MS .Net, JSP, eForms, FileNet and SharePoint ECM platforms.

3.       POC engagement support – where our developed applications are deployed for POC.


Key Outputs:

1.  Providing quality support services to our customers by following responsibilities –

Analyzing the reported issue and identifying the root cause.

Apply necessary troubleshooting methods to resolve the problem.

Coordinate with development team on any bug fixes.

Deploy bug fixes and changes requested by customers.

Follow up and closing of support requests.

2. Helping customers solve technical issues

3.Conducting periodical health check on solution environments and reporting to customers.


1. Maintaining good relation with colleagues.

2. Present a professional image to the customer


Technical Skills / Knowledge:

1.       Good knowledge and experience on ( & C#).

2.       Web development knowledge/experience is a must along with AJAX, jquery and JavaScript.

3.       Excellent knowledge in RDBMS concepts.

4.       MS SQL Server (2008, 2012 or later) is must, with basic working knowledge in Oracle databases.

5.       Hands on experience working with complex DML operations, database procedures, functions etc.

6.       Experience on IIS (internet information server).

7.       Good exposure in web application deployment (internet & intranet)

8.       Strong Client-facing skills.

9.       Basic to medium level knowledge of Operating system, network concepts etc.


Soft Skills -

1.       Good written reporting skills to report effectively to the Manager.

2.       Good communication skills to converse effectively with the colleagues.

3.       Ability to work beyond office hours / overtime when in need.

4.       Should be a Team – Player.

5.       Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
