Job Description:  

Key Functions & Responsibilities

1.    Referral of new supplier for all hotel projects.

2.    Re-selection of material specifications as required by the Project or line Manager

3.    Coordinating with Design Team for all specific material requirements.

4.    Coordinating and assisting Project Managers in the outsourcing and procurement of all local purchases for Hospitality

5.    Evaluation & recommendation of best strike off samples to Project Managers.

6.    Evaluation of price structures of suppliers based on quotes submitted.

7.    Ensuring correction in quantity for all local supplies based on indents from site. .

8.    Recommendation of reliable alternative suppliers to effectively provide substantial cost savings.

9.    Preparation of material presentation board as required by Project Manager.

10. Inspection & strike-off of all materials received at site ensuring compliance with regards to quality, rate and quantity.

11. Preparation of Procurement Logs for all Projects in the region and reporting on the same every month to the Head Office.

12. Competitive prices with comparative statements to be presented to the head office for approvals towards all local material purchase.

13. Reconciliation of all site indents and jointly certifying the same with respect to Project Managers.

14. Evaluation of the above reconciled records to ensure budget control.
